Sinopsis: En 1995, mientras desarrollaba una promisoria carrera teatral en Chile, el artista escénico Iván Ojeda es invitado a Nueva York a estudiar en el New Dramatists. Cuando termina su investigación, Iván decide quedarse para convertirse en Monalisa y trabajar como prostituta. Diecisiete años después, se reencuentra con su amiga de la Universidad de Chile y directora de esta película, Nicole, quien llega a vivir a Nueva York. Juntos, inician un viaje cuyo fin es comprender las motivaciones que tuvo Iván para autoexiliarse y marginarse en busca de su identidad.
Synopsis: In 1995, in the midst of a promising theatrical career in Chile, the artist Iván Ojeda is invited to New York to perform a theatrical investigation at the New Dramatists. Upon finishing his investigation, Ivan decides to stay behind, is reborn as Monalisa and begins to work as a prostitute. Seventeen years later, his former colleague from the University of Chile and the director of this film, Nicole, arrives to live to New York City.
